To us, a well stocked bar is as important as a well stocked larder. We’re proud to be able to offer five cask ales, a range of bottled beers, a carefully selected wine and spirits list and top quality handmade cocktails.

Each of our drinks has been chosen to complement the dishes in our restaurant, but also provide a great quality drink if you are joining us for an afternoon tipple or evening drinks. Our food menu includes a trio of refreshing aperitifs that will stimulate your appetite and we are happy to advise on what will go best with your meal.

We firmly believe that every bottle on our back bar has a story to tell and we’re proud to stock them. They form the base of our cocktail menu which has been put together by our management team who have many years of experience making great cocktails in the city and internationally.  The rich history of cocktails is something that we’re passionate about and something we want to share with our patrons. As such we’ve created a cocktail menu that not only uses original recipes for classics but we’ve also a range of our own seasonal drinks. Our summer cocktail menu includes a twist on classic recipes to create a range of refreshing drinks, inspired by the area.

Non-alcoholic options are diverse and top quality – Eager 100% fruit juices, freshly roasted Union coffee, Teapig teabags and handmade non-alcoholic cocktails.  Plus we’ll give you a free top-up on tea and coffee, so you’ll get both quality and quantity!

Steak and ale is a timeless classic and with this in mind we offer five cask ales. Our resident ale are Wye Valley’s Butty Bach (4.5% abv)  is brewed within the West Midlands, with a smooth, well balanced yet full-bodied taste and a slight hint of fruit and nuttiness to it. Our other three casks are guest ales that we rotate on a regular basis; check with your waiter or at the bar to find out what’s on tap.
